I have placed a number of ordered over the past few months and all, except this one (for a 1000 rd case) arrived in perfect condition. Here, the outer cardboard container was of extremely low quality; and, having apparently been dropped (or set down quite roughly), it crushed notably and was close to being split open. The individual boxes inside on that corner were all similarly crushed/ compacted on one corner, and about 4-5 boxes even had the plastic bullet holders broken into pieces, again seeming to reflect the poor quality, brittle plastic used for the holders. I've shot about 200 rds so far at the range and had no misfires; but, it seems there is more powder soot than normal on my gun (HK USP 45 FS) than normal - with what I'd say is good quality ammo. For this price (and, yes, availability is clearly a notable issue now), my rating is between two and three starts. In summary, if a manufacturer chooses to cut costs on product packaging, which is readily evident to anyone buying it, what are the chances that a similar approach isn't being taken on not so readily apparent aspects of the ammo itself.
